On occasion I would use the notes to explain the reason why I chose a particular mode of solution for the question or some other mathematical comment. In that case there would normally be maths in the notes relevant to the question and this should be displayed for the author and for other authorised authors as well. Could Test Run also display the notes?

I don't understand what you're asking for in the first bit.

Why would you want Test Run to show the notes?

If there are maths expressions in the notes,it would be a boon for other authors/users/reviewers if these notes are displayed - Test Run would be a natural choice.

They are shown to other authors. I don't understand why you think they're not.

yes, but if there are maths expressions in the notes, a possible user (setter of tests) who is reviewing the questions by typically using Test Run might find it difficult to understand the raw latex or jme at the editing level
