Problems generating Javadoc

Getting errors such as:

 error: package android.support.design.widget does not exist

All libs are imported through gradle, but the docs are not generating properly. Lint also causes error, but can be turned off by

lintOptions {
        abortOnError false
    }

I have the same problem, generically I skip the javadoc with

tasks.withType(Javadoc).all {
    enabled = false
}
