When I arrowed through the text that I'd already typed in an edit box while using the SAPPI 4 driver, I would get an error sound.
Attached is the log.

Can you please provide more details about this?

  • Does it still occur?
  • Does it occur in all edit fields or just some particular fields? If the latter, describe them (application, etc.).
  • Does it occur for every character or just some? Is there any pattern?
  • What SAPI4 synthesiser were you using? (i.e. What does NVDA report as the voice?)

Please retest with a recent snapshot. If you're running from source, make sure all of the dependencies (particularly comtypes) are up to date according to dependencies.txt.
