This term may instead need to be modelled as:

Temperature of the water body by.... 'thermistor on ADCP transducer' or similar. The temperature of the transducer itself doesn't seem to be used for anything, whereas water temp is routinely used for speed of sound correction. Confirmation sought from originator as to the intention behind this parameter.
