Valeport surface sound speed format for SIS 5.7.0+

Context / symptoms:

1. Valeport Thru-Hull SVS data originally provided to SIS in 'Valeport' probe output format.

2. This feed was no longer accepted by SIS after upgrading to version 5.7.0 and later.

3. Note: the Thru-Hull SVS models may use different software than other Valeport sensors (https://www.valeport.co.uk/products/through-hull-svs/)

Solution provided by Mary Huey (SIO) after discussion with Kongsberg technical support.

1. The Valeport sensor output should be in 'AML' format for SIS. 'Valeport' format had been accepted in SIS versions 5.5.X-5.6.X due to a bug, which was fixed in 5.7.0.

2. Download Datalog X2 (not found on the typical Valeport sensor page): https://www.valeport.co.uk/Products/DatalogX2

3. Use Datalog X2 Terminal to modify the probe output format to 'AML' with the following commands:

#014 --> displays current output format
#013;AML --> changes the format to AML
#028 --> resume outputting data (the previous commands will stop output)
