This is a WIP PR to kickstart the porting effort to OCaml 4.14, feel free to push directly to this branch as I don’t think I will have the time or necessary knowledge to port the new C functions myself (e.g. I suppose there are some from the new In_channel and Out_channel modules)

Can you remind me how to get an opam switch with 4.14 ?

opam switch create 4.14 4.14.0+trunk

and then somewhat optionally (needed to get ppxlib):

opam remote add alpha git+https://github.com/kit-ty-kate/opam-alpha-repository
