Installing correctly but not working on VSCodium

Hello, I've been using this extension for years on Windows and Linux flawlessly. I recently formatted my computer and installed Xubuntu 22.04 with VsCodium. I tried with both an installation from the snap store and apt store.
The output of codium --version is

1.76.0
09385e58b89a2ff657ce1aafaaced37f28aaa7e8
x64

It's simply installing without errors but not displaying the colors. I also tried downgrading the plugin to different versions but it's still not working.

Okay, this is funny: I tried taking a screenshot and apparently, when the screenshot tool puts a grey transparent overlay over VSCodium it's showing the rainbow.

apparently, by default the indent colors were being rendered with an alpha value of 0.07, which I guess was transparent enough not to be rendered properly. I changed the alpha to 0.4 and now it's displaying correctly

This is what I put in the .vscode config
