The Gantt chart for the project can be seen below.

For the hardware, the approach followed was to use simpler electronics and to focus on getting the design right the first time. This eliminated the need for separate prototype and final versions to be made and allowed quick building and testing, as can be seen below. As a consequence, more resources could be devoted to software implementation. Additionally, the hardware requirements were specified and set at the beginning of the design phase, and allowed the independent development of hardware and software.

For the software, the GUI design and underlying code were also separated. Thus, more time could be spend to have good working code using a real-time approach, albeit without a GUI.

A logo was created early own and communication channels were set-up. This would allow for anticipation to generated well before the final presentation in the beginning of April.
