Travis is configured for latest node and failing on Node 8 #8

Change Travis to only support Node 6 and Node 7.

I've had a lot of issues with Gulp and NPM 5 and Node 8 so we'll defer that until the release of Gulp 4.

Also update the docs to call this out for users.

Looks like this wasn't the case. All builds are reporting green now.
