On import, imposm3 informs me that at least two separate nodes are needed to build a way - it's just a warning, not an error.

Would it be possible to make the output more verbose, f.e. the osm_id of the way?

imposm3 shouldn't be a tool for debugging OSM files, osmium is fine for this.
