Apply for access

0. Agree to the terms & conditions

By applying you have read and agree to the terms and conditions of the Community Cluster.

1. Apply for access

First off you should apply for access. All applications will be reviewed, so please fill them out accurately and make sure you agree to the terms and conditions of the platform.

Note: You will also be invited to OpenFaaS Slack, log-in and join the #openfaas-cloud channel.

2. After you receive your confirmation email

Once you receive a confirmation email, you can:

  • Join the Insiders Track via GitHub Sponsors (recommended)

The Insiders Track provides regular updates, news, tutorials, and announcements for OpenFaaS and the Community Cluster, it starts from 5 USD / mo, and pays towards the additional costs incurred by accepting new users into the cluster.

This is optional, but a sign of goodwill and support for the project.

  • Activate your access now with the quickstart

Send your PR to the CUSTOMERS file and create a sample function. Make sure you read the appendix.

  • Follow the New User Guide

The quick start contains a quick lab to help you familiarise yourself with how OpenFaaS Cloud works, you can also try out the New User Guide to deploy an API with Node.js and Express.js.

3. DIY / self-service

If you'd like to spin up your own OpenFaaS Cloud for your team, or for development you can use the ofc-bootstrap tool. Once you have configured GitHub or GitLab, the bootstrap process takes around 100 seconds.

If you're new to Kubernetes, you can ask for a free quote from OpenFaaS Ltd for installing OpenFaaS Cloud and creating your Kubernetes environment on your preferred cloud provider, email sales@openfaas.com.

You can’t perform that action at this time.
