The valid values for layer_geom_type_s are: Point, Line, Polygon, Raster, Scanned Map, and Paper Map. Where Scanned Map is a special case for non-WMS rasters (like IIIF).

multipoint and polyline should go away eventually... see OpenGeoMetadata/edu.princeton.arks#6
