@ianhi - thanks for your submission to JOSS. We're currently managing a large backlog of submissions and the editor most appropriate for your area is already rather busy.

For now, we will need to waitlist this paper and process it as the queue reduces. Thanks for your patience!

:wave @ianhi, I'll be your editor for this submission. It would be great if you could help me identify potential reviewers, then please mention them here in this thread (without tagging them with an @). You can search the list of people that have already agreed to review and may be suitable for this submission. I will also be away Tue-Fri next week, so will likely only get properly started with contacting reviewers the first week of July.

Hi @ppxasjsm I'm sorry for the delay! I missed the initial message through a combination of attending a wedding and the subsequent holiday in the U.S. I'm now back and should be able to see messages much more promptly.

I spent some time searching the reviewer list and came up with the following as start. Happy to suggest more if need be.

@ppxasjsm I'm happy to review the submission but I might not get to it in the next two weeks as I am out for a conference and then on vacation. If that's okay with you I can likely get it done by some time in the week of July 24-28.
