Latest virt-what detects aws platform as in http://git.annexia.org/?p=virt-what.git;a=blob;f=virt-what.in;h=d43916beea13e6b0821b05bc9afc79cc071f667f;hb=HEAD#l402

I left previous method as an alternative for when virt-what is not available.
