  • 13:31 <demory> hi folks, should we get started?
  • 13:31 <mattwigway> hello
  • 13:32 <mele> hi
  • 13:32 <mattwigway> Is OTP 1.0 still planned for tomorrow?
  • 13:33 <demory> mattwigway, I had forgotten about that. but no, probably not happening
  • 13:33 <demory> maybe the end of the year is a better target, esp. if we want to include the leaflet UI
  • 13:33 <mattwigway> there's one bug I need to get around to fixing with car routing that causes intersections to be over-weighted-against
  • 13:34 <mattwigway> (actually, I need to get around to opening a ticket first)
  • 13:34 <mele> I know FrankP is hoping for a stable release soon so we can finally get caught up with a number of bug fixes
  • 13:35 <FrankP> Yeah, maybe not a 1.0 ... but something to bring the stable branch in line with all the good work in head would be appreciated...
  • 13:36 <demory> yeah, there hasn't been a bugfix release in a while -- maybe we shoot for a 0.9.2 in the next week or so, and 1.0 for the new year?
  • 13:36 <mattwigway> sounds good to me. That should give me time to fix the weighting issue
  • 13:36 <FrankP> (BTW, not a huge rush on that though, and we could certainly wait till end of year / Jan...)
  • 13:38 <demory> so, speaking of UI work, my update for the week: still focused primarily on the call center UI, making good progress there. also some general deployer/Joyride backend stuff
  • 13:39 <grant_h> demory: I looked into the call-taker log-in issue
  • 13:40 <grant_h> the old system required the call-takers to log in, but I was pointed to someone else at trimet to let me know if it is neccessary in the new system
  • 13:41 <grant_h> I've contacted this person a few times, but haven't heard back yet
  • 13:41 <grant_h> I'll try again today
  • 13:42 <demory> grant_h, ok, thanks for the update. no real rush on that, but let know if you do hear anythign back
  • 13:42 <grant_h> will do
  • 13:43 <mattwigway> I need to run now, talk to you all later!
  • 13:43 <novalis_dt> Sorry for the delay. I've been looking into the field trip module
  • 13:43 <novalis_dt> And fixing misc bugs
  • 13:46 <demory> ok, any other check-ins?
  • 13:46 <novalis_dt> I think the current codebase is pretty stable, actually.
  • 13:46 <novalis_dt> I guess it would be nice if it had some testing.
  • 13:46 <abyrd> I've been working on various combinations of heuristics and stop linking for the dutch use cases
  • 13:47 -!- mattwigway [~mattwigwa@169-231-127-234.wireless.ucsb.edu] has quit [Ping timeout: 244 seconds]
  • 13:48 <demory> novalis_dt, ok, should we schedule a 0.9.2 release then?
  • 13:49 <novalis_dt> grant_h, is it possible to run the TriMet test suite?
  • 13:49 <grant_h> sure
  • 13:49 <novalis_dt> Thanks
  • 13:50 <demory> maybe we plan on early next week for release -- gives us time to run the test suite and perhaps for mattwigway to include his car weighting fix
  • 13:51 <novalis_dt> OK, cool
  • 13:52 <grant_h> novalis_dt: so which branch should we test?
  • 13:52 <abyrd> sounds good
  • 13:53 <novalis_dt> master
  • 13:55 <demory> so, anything else for the check-in?
  • 13:56 <novalis_dt> Nope
  • 13:56 <mele> I don't think so
  • 13:57 <demory> alright, chat next week then!
