Greetings, I'm an old retired telecom guy from America now living in Sweden. I'v been around long enough to see most of the oldest games when they were new. I love replaying many of the old classics. I have been mostly a Windows slave and occasionally dipping into the latest linux release. I'm running Monjaro now and for the moment really love it. I found JRomManager and it really seems like something that could be fun to build a collection on. I am familiar with roms and i love to tinker with emulating older systems. Thanks for the hard work that has been put into this product.

Greetings, I work as Lead Dev professionally in an open source data Management platform.

I also help in some emulation related projects in my free time.

I'm old enough to appreciate and Love 80s and 90s videogames.

Have done lots of Java and C for Desktop, Server and Mobile. Get things running on Windows, Linux distros, Mac, IOS, Android, and some thankfully defunct OSes.

I believe this project is the best open source solution for managing large romsets.

I would like to see it grow since mayor rom warehouses are still using other solutions for a few reasons.

So I will stick around here and hopefully help it grow.

Mostly same background except that professionally I work for a "non opensource" international company :-D

I've started this project initially because I was not satisfied with clrmamepro and romcenter when it was about dealing with entire software lists and even more when it was on non windows (so using wine)

I know that this project still need a lot of code cleaning and comments... but I'm curious to see if my code is understandable
