It's official, the adjTomo ecosystem is on PyPi and and can be installed directly via Pip! No more cloning Git repositories and trying to figure out which branch houses the latest, stable codebase.
Motivated by major changes in one package breaking all downstream packages, I decided to become much more strict with package updates, version releases and installation procedures. This starts with publishing stable versions as a foundational starting point.
This push will hopefully help reduce breaking code in the future and the ability for users to determine where bugs occur based on code versions.
The current state of adjTomo is as folllows:
Future changes to any of these packages will take place in branches, and once merged into the
master
branch, version numbers will be incremented and new versions will be pushed to PyPi for immediate access. I will stick closely to semantic versioning to avoid any future code discrepancies.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
