Is Grails dying?

Although the software is still being upgraded, I don't see many people are engaged in the project actively. You can verify from the Issues list. Only one guy replies to the issues actively. Yes, one!

I like Grails' the way to develop applications. But after a decade the software seems not to have gained popularity. If you check Dice.com or any other job websites, you barely see job posts for Grails developer. That's the most straightforward way to know. Also, the software still has some obvious bugs. It seems it doesn't go through testing. One example is that deploying to standalone Tomcat always causes issue.

Please let me know what other frameworks you like.
