Check if performance will improve if the registry will return precalculated hashes of files in the package

The npm registry now has a new endpoint that returns a package's file index. See related PR: #7177

Hence, instead of calculating the hashes ourself, we could download the hashes from this new endpoint.

I did some related measurements in the past and it seems that the results were that calculating locally is faster:

I think we should still try it with the new endpoint.
