Tauri Desktop App, embed in rust, connect with surrealdb.js

Came across a demo of how to use surrealdb in a tauri app, so a mix of typescript and rust.

Was a bit confused as to why it didn’t use the surrealdb client, but instead IPC between rust and js. Suppose its got to do with how embedding works. Is it (or will it be) possible to run surreal in the rust part and connect via the official surrealdb.js client from the JS side?

I Just found the same video on youtube and to be honest the IPC thing look so complicated 😁 did you find an answer ? Or maybe the great @kearfy could give us a minute to guide us about IPC or Native Surrealdb JS Driver ?
