Damaged c700 Component (Mac) #24
Comments
@smallMacDonald |
Thank you for getting back to me. C700 is working again, and I am very relieved, but also very confused. I downloaded the new osx version and got the same "the component file is damaged and can't be opened" error message. I moved the component to the trash, and then moved it from the trash back into the proper plug-in folder. And now it works???? I do not understand how this fixed the problem, but I am very glad that it's working again. Once again, thank you so much!!! |
Since downloading this version, the AU and VST stopped working. |

Hi. I got the same message as @smallMacDonald. I tried moving it to the trash and back to the Components directory but it still doesn't work. I tried forcing Logic to use the plugin anyway through the plugin manager but got the following error: Any tips @osoumen or @smallMacDonald? My System |
I recently downloaded the c700 20210501 version for Mac, but when I try to open it, I get error messages saying that the component is damaged. I have attached pictures below. I am currently using Big Sur 11.5 and GarageBand 10.4.3.
I have tried deleting and re-downloading it, and restarting my computer, but nothing has worked so far. I have worked with an older edition of C700 (which I now can't access, sadly), and really enjoyed using it, so any help getting it to work again would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
