1.4 WhateverGreen caused bootloop #34
Comments
Can you test with latest WG release and see if same issue arises? https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/releases |
works, thx. |
I might have included the incorrect version, I will fix. |
It seems the Metal driver come with 1.4 also not work in 10.15 beta 7. Complied kext from osy86/Polaris22Fixup by myself works fine. |
Thanks for the heads up. I had the files in various directories for weeks and forgot about it. I think I released the wrong directory. I will redact this release and make a proper one. |
Please check if the full EFI from 1.4.1 still causes issues. |
WhateverGreen-1.3.1 Add the latest version The same is true for throwing the same problem |
Are you using the hac mini 1.4.1 release unmodified? |
why u include 'GK701HIDDevice.kext' kext in 1.4.1? |
That's a mistake. Release updated. |
I am testing it now. |
ok. quicksync not working now. |
so what does "gigabyte site" means? |
|
I can't find video on gigabyte.com, I only found their youtube channel, like this: |
Are you talking about QuickSync on 10.14 or 10.15? |
both. |
u visit https://www.gigabyte.com. |
Please test with v2.1 and open a new issue with the issue template if the problem still exists. I will close all < 2.0 issues in two weeks. |
Closing as indicated above. Please open a new ticket and fill in the requested information if the issue persists. |
NUC8i7HVK, using 1.4, it keeps rebooting when the process bar is at about 10%. After removing WhateverGreen, it boots succeed.
The verbose mode goes so fast that I can't catch any information.
