A saved eps file with invisible bitmaps cannot be re-opened by ipe

I have a figure with several layers. When I save it as a .eps file with some layers no visible, it cannot be reopened by ipe (and I cannot then recover it). \r\n\r\nIf I save it as an .ipe file, or as an .eps file with all layers visible, it re-opens OK.\r\n\r\nI am attaching the .ipe file."
