Symodel is a simple database model generator. It's simple, maybe too much.
It reads the postgres database configuration and generate some files (one per table), trying to parse some data and rendering it using Jinja2
Feel free to change anything and use and improve it
Clone this repo and after simply do:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Set the following environment vars:
DATABASE_DSN=postgresql://db_user:db_pass@localhost:5432/db_name
DB_CATALOG=your_catalog
DB_SCHEMA=your_schema
Don't forget to load these doing source .env
After, simply do mkdir output; python main.py
You must check the output directory to look for your models
Pull requests are welcome. For major changes, please open an issue first to discuss what you would like to change.
Please make sure to update tests as appropriate.
