Hah, I shudder to think how many versions have appeared while this was lingering! >.> But it's grey now, anyway.

Updated! We actually want to stick with this version, I think, because it's basically been completely rewritten since this pull request, and we'd have to figure out how to add our customizations back in. Plus we know this version resolves some weird-ass issue on touch screens because someone tested it on my webdev once upon a time, so I like the idea of going with what we know works.
