you're the one who made the pug, right? i don't know if anyone has told you but there's currently some weird glitch that happens there where if an object is moved (like a pickup), it can sometimes glitch out and lag the entire lobby

Soliouss reports the issue continues. And it sounds like it is still quite easy to reproduce.

me and my boys joined a lobby with 5 people in it and it only took a few minutes to replicate the issue unfortunately. we intentionally knocked the stuff off the shelves and it happened.

Testing from Soliouss and his boys was not "clean" with fresh instances. I'm optimistic this was indeed improved by today's updates.

I got some more help debugging and it seems the issue was related to my object respawners.

They have been disabled. Apologies for the mess!

This issue continues. Having Pickups in your VRChat world is basically a liability right now.

Because of this, and because not having object respawning makes pickups scattered and unfindable I have removed all pickups.

They will come back once it is safe to do so.

All pickups have ownership transfer on collision turned off. It is a broken feature that is on by default. This feature has been off on the pickups in The Pug for a long time now, and will stay off.

A response from Phasedragon on the Canny:

There is a known issue which is likely related: Ownership transfer on collision will cause too many unintentional transfers. I am unsure if this is exactly the issue that you are describing, but I know that ownership transfer on collision will cause issues similar to what you are describing.
The workaround for now is just to make sure that ownership transfer on collision is entirely disabled on all your pickups that have physics.
