It would be nice to have motion detector, which does not do any background
modeling on its own, but uses predefined scene image. First image from
video sequence may be used as scene image, if it was not set before. User
should be able specify scene image at any time before or after motion
detection was started.

Hi Andrew,

This would be a great feature. You've spent hours on this project, alongside
your co-
workers and deserve a medal for this work! Well done on a superb framework.

I've used the 1.7 version to demonstrate your motion detection algorithms, and
am
about to start work on another proof-of-concept work (traffic detection stuff -
a
hobby of mine) and was wondering if the Vision components (1.7 version) would
work
with the 2.0 beta of the video capture.

I am also wondering if it's worth just holding off until the 2.0 Vision
Framework is
released by you. Is there a timeframe?

Thanks, and I apologise if I have posted this in the wrong place

Please, see the next post:
http://www.aforgenet.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=559

It is in progress. Hope to complete 2.0 by the end of July. If there are still
some
issues, which may hold final release, it should not affect AForge.Vision - it
will
be done for sure by end of this month.
