When importing a project a pyenv-config-file .python-version in the project's root is ignored when Intellij is launched outside of the project directory (e.g. from a desktop/launcher shortcut). I would expect this plugin to pickup the venv and use it.

Workaround: open Intellij from a shell at the root of the project and import this project
