Evaluating ashot for visual testing

Hi,

I am evaluating the options that we have to add visual testing along with selenium webdriver. I see there are only two options as of now.

1. Apli tools.
2. Ashot.

Apli tools provide layout testing support. basically, it is capable of ignoring the texts and just compare the layouts. They provide many comparison levels such as pixel by pixel.

I am interested in the layout part and just wondering whether ashot provides support for layout testing.
