PeaZip 5.7.0 improves plugin management, comes with newer and faster 7z 15.05 backend (p7zip 9.38.1 on Linux), and updates IDE (Lazarus 1.4.0) and math/cryptography libraries.
UNRAR5 plugin for handling new RARv5 file format is now available both on Windows and Linux.
183 file extensions are now supported, adding support for compressed Unix/Linux man files

Release 5.5.2 introduces 7z 9.35 beta as new back-end, improving compression/extraction speed and enhancing support for many file formats. LZMA2 is the new default data compression algorithm for .7z archives.
Scanning (both inside and outside archives) was improved supporting on demand scan from more anti-virus / anti-malware products.

Release 5.5.0 improves file manager introducing advanced selection filters and new batch file rename functions: mass rename uppercase, lowercase, add string at fixed position, delete n chars at fixed position, replace/remove string optionally case sensitive, change file extension.
Image manager can now convert to TIFF, PPM, and XPM formats in addition to existing JPEG and PNG conversion, and were added pre-sets for conversion to JPEG with 90, 75, and 50 quality level, and to fit to 4K and 8K screen resolutions.
Archive manager features "Halt system after task completion" flag in Advanced compression/extraction options tab, and it was added option to remove single intermediate directory upon Extract to new folder operations.

Release 5.4.1 updates GUI design with new tabs, and improved menus for extraction and compression screens.
It was made simpler to re-use last output path, and to browse recent folders to drag items from system to application.
Better information is given when compressing and extracting multiple items at once.
