ndk-build not building placeholder

I followed README.md to the letter, and I was able to make su build, as well as an APK with the GUI app side. However, placeholder did not build, so I cannot follow that step. Is this something new that the readme just needs updating for?

If it matters, this is a Nexus 6 I'm targeting, running Android 5.0.1, and installing the binary via TWRP with ADB.

Without placeholder, su inevitably exits with '1' whenever I try to run it. Not even sure if the daemon is starting.

Learned on IRC that placeholder isn't in new versions. Used an older revision and got it working. Thanks, closing this.
