@Pickymarker my apologies for not responding sooner - for some reason I got zero notifications from Github about this issue (or the linked ones below). Hmmn.
As you can see from the change history, I've not looked at this for a while: the last OBS version I tested with was 27.x back in 2021. I note that you asked about using backscrub and presumably this project on Windows..
Unfortunately the build process for Windows was fragile and ugly in 2021 as there was no sensible package available that contains libobs, as there is on Linux. I documented what I discovered back then here: floe/backscrub#92 (comment) which would probably have better been in a README here - mea culpa! I'll check things still work on Linux then have another look at OBS on Windows shortly.
FWIW you would need to start with my windows-build branch here to get the 2021 code that worked on Windows, the main and experimental branches are Linux only. More as I find out..
I have now put all my instructions into this project's README.md, after checking through them on my own Linux machine and in a fresh Azure Windows VM with OBS 29.0.2 (I have no actual Windows systems here).
how do you use this on latest obs with amd gpu because can't figure out how to compile it to use on obs
