[Suggestion] New App Icon

Hi! I find this app really useful so I decided to contribute. As you may have noticed, simple and minimalist icons are trending right now. Thus, here are my suggestions for the app icon in order to give it a modern look and a brand identity. These icons combine symbol for "notification" (bell) and " human e-voice" which well-represent what this app is capable of. What do you think? I'll be happy to make adjustments.

Nice work! I'm personally leaning for the left or center style, probably without the waves outside the bell, in blue or cyan to avoid changing too dramatically from the existing icon. I would of course like to hear opinions from others.

The current icon is definitely overdue for replacement. I made it myself in Inkscape over 7 years ago and graphic design is one of my weakest skills; it might be my best unguided work of art.

I'll be sure the new icon makes it into v1.2.0. If you have them in vector as it appears, that would be perfect, since it needs to be scaled every which way for different screen densities and the Play Store.

Glad you like it. I made some blue/cyan variations as you mentioned. Which one do you prefer? I will upload the vectors and png files of your final pick.

I would say the leftmost one.

I may tweak it once I see how it looks when implemented, though I have no intention to modify the foreground shapes.

No need to upload png files. There are several resolutions required and I'm familiar with converting vector to bitmap.

The third blue is best for me. But I love also your old.
