I'm having trouble getting my pdf to open with PDF-Xchange. It keeps giving a invalid file format error. It works fine if I use the adobe pdf reader.
I know that pdfobject wasn't tested with other pdf readers other then adobe, but has anyone had any luck getting pdfobject to work with PDF-Xchange or any other pdf readers other then adobe?

I've never tried PDF-Xchange, but have successfully tested PDFObject with other PDF viewers, such as Chrome's integrated PDF viewer and Safari's integrated PDF viewer. I've heard people have PDFObject with Foxit Reader successfully, too.
Bear in mind Adobe has extended Adobe Reader to include support for video and Flash animations within PDFs. Many PDF readers will not support those PDFs. Maybe you're running into a similar compatibility issue.
I tried it with foxit and chrome's integrated PDF viewer and they all work fine, its only PDF-Xchange that seems to be having problems opening in the browser. It can open fine if I download it
