Hi,
I discovered/realised Parallax.js fails without a !DOCTYPE declaration. This is not mentioned anywhere in the docs; perhaps because you expected developers like me to be writing valid HTML... :)

Regardless, this caused significant pain and lengthy trial and error on my end. Would you consider adding even a hint in your docs that doctype/fully valid html is needed?

Steve.

That's odd. I never tested parallax.js without a proper DOCTYPE, but I just assumed it would work. Which browser are you using? And does anything useful come up in the javascript error console?

Firefox and Chrome on OS X. Safari too, I think. Nothing registered at all in console. Will try to put together some demo files to illustrate soon and make sure it's not just my bad coding!

I had the same issue. Also Firefox, Chrome, Safari.
I thought it was because I was using webpack to load library. It should be mention somewhere on page. Great library though !
