Hi plausible,

Ive created a website, invited a viewer. It works - they can only view the site the were given access to.

But they can still create a new website.

How to prevent?

When I login I cant even see the sites they might create.

The invite system (I suggested this originally) was an idea to control account creation, preventing people from registering an account on your selfhosted server.

Suggestion
When in invite_only mode you can invite

  • viewer (can only view the websited invited to)
  • admin (can only admin the website invited to)

Optionally a checkbox to make it a server global invite

👋 @jesperordrup

Self-hosted docs are in the process of being moved to https://github.com/plausible/community-edition so I moved this feature request to plausible/community-edition#98
