left 40mm of bed can't be auto probed due to probe offset leading to unusable print quality on most of that part of bed. could use UBL and manually probe with nozzle.

3x3 bilinear level doesn't lead to consistent results. prusa uses 3x3 with 2 simulated subdivisions.

good initial results with 2 simulated subdivisions. babystepping up for each print, recheck offset with better bed leveling algorithm.

issues with 3x3 with 3 subdivisions. not sufficient due to bubbles that develop under pei due to underspecced adhesive. 5x5 also not good enough.
trying ubl 10x10 without filling in spot unreachable by bltouch, ends up being 7x8 mesh. only worked after editing top left corner of print, roughly x50 Y135 up by about .015. bottom left could also use adjusting.

ubl working better after adjusting min_probe_edge and mesh bounds so front, right and back edges can be probed.
