I have media files locally stored and I would like to watch them together with others. Can multiplex do that? I would rather use the files I already downloaded than download the torrent again.

That's definitely a very interesting usecase! Its def. something that should be possible, but will require a few changes to how it works. We already create a weron connection, so we could absolutely use that to stream the local media file. If you want to get this working right now though - you can just seed your files using a Torrent client like qBittorent (see a tutorial here: https://www.wikihow.com/Create-a-Torrent), copy the magnet link, then share it with your friends and watch the local file together with them like usual :)
