IN THE FUTURE, will PolarDB maintain multiple LTS series in the same time(like what the MySQL does):

multiple LTS

os just one series all the time(like Visual Code)?

one LTS

Not finally decided, more like second one. Cause we already use some thing like Trunk Based Development for cloud. Like to hear your suggestion :)

It may be better to maintain multiple LTS series at the same time, because for the database, the upgrade version requires a large cost, which is not conducive for user to use the latest features.

I agree with @jingshanglu .

If the newer PolarDB fixes a severe bug which affects from the older version, BUT the newer one has a few backwards compatibility issue, hence it would make users very hard to deal with it. That is nothing but a disaster for a slow moving enterprise and its operating team.
