[event] remove=yes is being deprecated in Wesnoth 1.15.7 and later. [remove_event] has been available since 1.13.0 (or AtS @ 8a9e39dfe82f924afd8a28c52e4f58f7679405ed / IftU @ 29f693f29cef115fc5d2552d281b3a67259b80f5), just not consistently used across the board.
