Code of Conduct

We, as members of the community and development team, are dedicated to fostering a harassment-free and inclusive environment for everyone participating in our project's community.

Everyone is welcome here. Unwelcome is any form of hate ideology. Therefore, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming space for all, regardless of:

  • gender identity and expression,
  • sexual identity/orientation or sex characteristics,
  • physical or cognitive abilities,
  • body shape or size,
  • nationality or ethnic background,
  • socioeconomic status,
  • personal appearance,
  • religion or lack thereof,
  • any other factor that could be used as a basis for discrimination.

Engagement

While we aim to maintain an environment with minimal restrictions, we would like to outline some examples of acceptable and unacceptable behavior below. Our intention is to encourage all community members to embody the qualities of a decent human being, ensuring that we can collaborate effectively and foster a positive atmosphere.

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • 💬 Effective communication: engaging in open and empathetic communication, showing kindness and understanding towards others.
  • 🌟 Respect: treating each other with respect, embracing diverse opinions and experiences to create a harmonious atmosphere.
  • 🤝 Collaboration: working together to improve ourselves and the project, providing and accepting constructive feedback, leading to a sense of accomplishment and belonging.
  • ⚖️ Taking responsibility: acknowledging our mistakes, learning from experiences and offering apologies when necessary.
  • 📚 Knowledge sharing: sharing knowledge, resources and insights to promote mutual learning and growth.
  • 💡 Innovation: encouraging creativity, new ideas and innovative approaches to problem-solving.
  • Collectivism: focusing on what benefits not only us as individuals but also the community as a whole.

Examples of behavior that contributes to a negative environment include:

  • 🧌 Harassment: engaging in sexually explicit language or imagery, making unwanted sexual advances, trolling, making derogatory comments or launching personal attacks.
  • 📮 Spamming: engaging in repetitive or irrelevant messages or advertisements.
  • 🧨 Disruptive behavior: intentionally disrupting discussions and inciting arguments.
  • 👁️‍🗨️ Doxxing: publishing others' private information, such as physical or email addresses, without explicit consent.

Enforcement

We, as community moderators and team members, are volunteers and while we strive to address reports promptly, immediate responses may not always be possible.

If you witness or experience any form of abusive, harassing or otherwise unacceptable behavior, we encourage you to report it to the community staff. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated thoroughly and appropriate actions will be taken at the discretion of the staff.

By abiding by this code of conduct, we can ensure a healthy and inclusive community environment for everyone involved. Thank you for your understanding.
