Latest version is Version 4.0.2 (2018.6.6) . The one distributed with the source is too old ... 3.4.4, from 2014 or maybe it's from 2015 and a ßeta version, even worse.

(if works. do not touch it) 😺

OK. You can assign it a LABEL of "TO DO" , or make this a PROJECT on the right side of this ISSUE, as it's not an ISSUE ... and assign it to someone?

Testing with new version is required before publishing changes on source.

You are mixing things my friend ... this ISSUE here is about LIBQRENCODE! Not the PULL REQUEST I've sent , that you , for sure , should thoroughly test.

Again, can you assign it a LABEL to this ISSUE Request of "TO DO" , or make this a PROJECT on the right side of this ISSUE, as it's not an ISSUE ... and assign it to someone?

Thanks for the assignment. I'll investigate.
