This currently isn't possible as the current Cmake build is set, in specific for the micro-CDR case, when using generate_output_from_file function from px_generate_uorb_topic_files.py.

The solution I will work on will basically have a way of referencing the base file from that topic and use it to generate the micro-CDR headers and sources for that specific aliases, where only the naming and the ID changes.

Lorenz MeierThomas GublerJulian Kent we can now handle vehicle_visual_odometry and other alias messages on the RTPS stream. I have not tested this in a particular setup, but should do it soon.
