Updates README, adds additional notebooks, bugfixes to model.simulateS1

Description

This PR updates the README to the current state of the project with example links and supported methods. It also adds the following notebooks:

• Multi-model parameter identification comparison
• PyBOP optimiser comparison
• Gradient descent learning rate calibration

Finally, it fixes an bug within the model.simulateS1 method which returned the wrong object type when the forward model failed.
