As a live musician I want to apply filters and effects to individual tracks whilst they are being played.

playback

  • reverb is most important, but many amps have it. Voice and drums may almost always have reverb.
  • delay is not often on amps.
  • individual tracks AND/OR all output.

recording

to reduce noise from cars and trains... a low pass filter may be good.
