This template should be used (edited) the month prior and during the meeting. This will ensure we can address all topics added throughout the month; as well as provide minutes and follow up after the meeting is held.

@lorenanicole That reminds me. JupyterCon is currently being re-organized to a virtual event. We want to give community organizations a chance to highlight them and bring visibility to their orgs. There are a few options. Community organizations can choose from the following in exchange for sharing event with their community and a few free passes:

  • 1-2 minute video on your organization or a local chapter
  • 1-2 minute video on tips for using Jupyter notebook
  • panel discussion

Can we add to the agenda? We have a couple of PyLadies chapters on board. If any others are interested, we can arrange for a few free passes for the chapters who are participating.

Note: website still being updated to change from in-person to virtual event. Scheduled for Oct 2020.

Organized by: NumFOCUS and Jupyter

@reshamas sure! Since we only have a hour and we will be spending likely most the time for election work, I imagine if you can condense sponsorship info with quick notes so we can review in a timely fashion that'd be great. Thank you!
