This template should be used for those those inquiring about a PyLadies Sponsorship.

The Basics

  • Are you a PyLady or an Ally?

NYC PyLadies organizer

  • What is the event about?

Jupyter notebook (organized by NumFOUS and Jupyter, community based)

  • What language is your event in?

English

Python is a main language used in Jupyter and is a widely used tool. This is the annual conference, and we want to ensure a wide user base is aware of and has the opportunity to participate in the conference.

  • How will support from the PyLadies enhance the event?

  • When and where is the event taking place?
    Oct 12-16, online

  • Is there an official page or document for the event? Please provide a link.

  • What are the benefits for the sponsorship (e.g. promotion, event tickets)?

  • will receive some free tickets to make event accessible
  • community groups will be highlighted and placed on the website under "Community Sponsors"
  • special access to submit 2-minute video on community or use of Jupyter Notebook (no requirement to submit CFP for this)

as many chapters as are interested can participate as Community Sponsor. We have about 20 slots for community partners.

Thanks for opening this @reshamas! As we reviewed this at yesterday's global interim meeting (see: pyladies/global-organizing#71 and meeting notes this has been approved. What do you need next from @pyladies/pyladies-global-contributors?
