"N-D" in the title means non‑deterministic or something else? Could you add a short sentence to the readme file therefore? Cheers R

Perhaps "non-dense" in the sense of sparse .. ?

thank you @robbiemorrison, true that needs an explanation. N-D stands for N-dimensional or multi-dimensional. The framing is taking over from https://github.com/pydata/xarray (a package that linopy heavily relies on)
