Extra info(if any)

(It started happening recently out of the blue and was working fine up until now. I reinstalled it from scratch, completely removed all references to it and deleted all registry keys to no avail. I also tried the 32-bit version and a previous build to no avail. I also ran Antivirus, Malwarebytes and CCleaner to no avail. There is nothing in Event Viewer or WER\Report Archive folder with reference to QT.)

I'm experiencing this on windows 10 x64 2004 OS Build: 19041.331 with a self compiled build from master but I use Qt 5.15.0 with that, where as 4.2.5 uses Qt 5.13.2.

There was a similar report of this in #13001

I believe it could be down to a windows update......

EDIT: Have checked from 4.2.1 to 4.2.5 & it's same with this OS Build...haven't had a chance to test with other OS builds....

Most likely not a qBittorrent issue then. Also, I don't think qBittorrent installs any registry keys... although there may be some related references, related to auto-open settings (for torrents/magnet links), but that is not relevant.

@JussChillen Are you using the same OS Build 19041.331 as me or previous?

The OS build is 19041.331, no updates to be installed. The issue in #13001 is identical to mine. I also tried DISM and scannow as the other guy did to no avail. I haven't tried 4.2.1 though. Also, I noticed QT works when I switch to another user profile. Both profiles are admin accounts, so I think it may be related to a profile issue.

I don't have a physical floppy drive or a virtual one in Device Manager. I'm using an Intel NUC.

Jesus F'in Christ. Mapped network drives. F'in mapped network drives.

I have about a dozen mapped network drives, one of which doesn't connect because the share on that server is unavailable. I disconnected it, restarted the workstation and presto!

Holy sh*t.

Thanks for everyone's help.
