Stalled status #50
Comments
Unrelated to qBittorrent. If this was a bug, a lot more users would complain. |
I have the exact same issue, under #54. Maybe it's related to the build? I also am running win 7, 3.0.0. |
It most certainly IS related to qbittorrent. If the tracker was unresponsive (as you mentioned in #54 before closing it) none of my other torrent programs would have worked with the same file/tracker immediately after closing qbittorrent. You guys have had this problem for a long time and denying that it exists isn't going to help anyone. I'd expect that there are a lot of people who have run into this and simply uninstalled without reporting it. There are many good alternatives and uninstalling is easier than reporting a bug. Qbittorrent is the only torrent program out of the five I've been testing which doesn't work properly - don't narrow-mindedly insult those of us who are trying to help you. |
For myself, I've given up and gone back to utorrent. Though I don't like

I have the same issue as well. Figured I'd take the time to mention it after reading the previous posts. I'm using windows 8. So far I have had zero issues installing anything, but thought you might like to know. |
Well said SESQI! Talk about arrogant! Developers eh? |
Still having this issue. Random torrents are stalled, even though other torrents on the same network are working fine. |
I'm seeing this too. |
cdumez is painfully wrong, this is absolutely related to qBittorrent. I get this too every so often. |
This is currently happening to me as well; running v3.0.8 on a Hackintosh, OS X 10.8.2. |

When compared side by side to uTorrent with the same torrent and tracker qBittorrent will often set the newly downloading torrent to stalled whereas uTorrnt will always begin to search for peers and begin the download. Your screenshot of an almost completed download doesn't really show or prove anything. |
qBittorrent v3.0.9 on Windows 7 SP1 Newly added torrents almost always appear as 'Stalled' even when there are plenty of seeds/peers and the tracker works in other Torrent programs. I really like this program but it's clear based on the number of users with similar problems that it has something to do with qBittorrent. |
I started as a µTorrent user. Whenever I ran into problems with it, I tried qBittorrent as an alternative. 3 days ago was about the 5th instance that happened. Every single time, qBittorrent worked fine for an hour or so, but then the stalling problem happened permanently. I always decide to uninstall qBittorrent and try again half a year later to see whether the problem has been fixed. I only registered here to no longer be one of those “uninstall without bug report” users sesqi suspected. And I’m sure there are very many of those; if I hadn’t read his on point post, I would have remained one of them as well. |
Ver. 3.0.0/Win7
All downloads show "stalled". Network connection good (not firewalled) and tracker shows working. Seems like this one STILL isn't fixed.
